I'm looking to implement this at my new job and I'm wondering if there is Active Directly integration so that the users populate automagically. I think it would make things much easier for them as many are not very savy.
Using Active Directory is going to need some quite extensive coding, it'll be easier to use the NT Authetification method that is built in already. Your users will have to add their names by hand but they should be able to do that!!
I've managed to get Doctors to do it ;)
@Marc-I'm with Nick. We've instructed our users to enter their contact info when they first access the help desk. NTLM handles their username and their password.
