E-mail Updates and Closed via pager

I would like to use the pager feature to notify me of when a ticket is updated and closed. I am the IT Director and when my techs get assigned the ticket I do not recieve updates anymore. I am only able to get the default which is when a ticket is created. I do have my email in the pager slot in the techs user configuration.

I was thinking of trying to edit the dB or the sql file. Does anyone have any ideas?
