Hi All

Has anyone got experience of HESK Helpdesk AND Liberum? I would love to incorporate the 'Canned Responses' and 'Auto-suggested solutions' used in the Open Source Hesk; for our school Helpdesk (heavily modified Liberum).

Anyone got any ideas which parts of hesk I need to add to Liberum

TIA
JODY

Hesk is a php application.  Liberum is an asp application.  I guess if there are features in Hesk you want in Liberum you'd have to create the new code in Liberum from scratch.  There isn't any conversion mechanism I know of between php to asp.

Thanks doug.

Is http://www.me-u.com/php-asp/ any good?  Ultimately I just need a dropdown box with 'canned responses' which when selected populates the 'Enter Additional Notes' field, and the same for the Solution section.

I reckon the 'statuses' section could be cloned and adapted (and a copy of the status table added) to suit this - but I am unsure what to change to associate a new function?

The other sticking point is populating the 'Enter Additional Notes' field from the modified 'statuses' dropdown?

Regards
